New Letterbox in Washington State

From: Deziree Iams (DZpurple@msn.com) | Date: 2002-08-09 16:03:33 UTC-07:00
I've placed a letterbox in Silver Lake, near Toutle, Washington:

Box Name:  The Fish Box
Nearest Town:  Toutle, WA
County:  Cowlitz
Placed:  8-3-02
Placed By:  DZ Dezi

Clues:
Pick a nice day for a boat ride; the lake is shallow, but not shallow enough!  You'll definitely need some type of water transportation for this one!  (Rentals are available nearby)

The box resides in the west end of the lake, just south of an uninhabited island.  Look for a formation of derelict soldiers, and head into the "No Wake" zone, slowly of course.  You'll find the right piling about forty rows west and one row north.  If the sign survives, it will be fairly easy, but if not, look for a crack in a piling that is facing Mt. St. Helens.  The box is wedged up inside.  The fishing is good here too!

If you find it, please email me to let me know how the box is holding up.
